Despite what the bakery's name suggests, they actually have more breads and buns than cakes. Like any other local bakeries, there are a variety of breads ranging from Butter Bun ($1.30) to Chicken Floss Bun ($1.50) to Ham & Egg Bun ($1.50) and even Chicken Burger ($1.50). There are also a range of sandwiches and other local bakery goods and even packets of old school biscuits such as the "Fancy Gem Biscuits" ($2.50)! They also sell pandan waffles here, which was quite decent when I tried it prev
This actually came with pearls by default but I asked for no pearls, although according to the lady who prepared my drink, they still charge the same price whether you get it with or without pearls. This Plum Green Tea was quite sour with a bitter aftertaste and had pieces of plum flesh in it which I kind of liked! Ham, Cheese and Egg Mayo Sandwich ($1.60)
The bread they used was the healthier kind although it wasn't as soft as white bread. But taste-wise this was quite decent and I liked that the egg mayo wasn't too sweet. Overall, this was quite filling on its own and I thought the price was quite reasonable compared to other similar sandwiches at other bakeries. Mini Chicken Floss Bun ($0.50)
The bun was soft and slightly sweet and was quite a steal at only $0.50 each although it was more value for money to get 3 for just $1.20! This also came in the Mini Spicy Chicken Floss version. If you prefer something bigger and more filling, they also come in the normal size buns!
Overall, I found the prices to be quite reasonable for their breads, most of which are within the $1.30 to $1.60 range. They have some pretty decent breads too although I liked their sandwiches and waffles more. Another plus is that this bakery is located at Marsiling MRT, which makes it certainly convenient to grab a bread, or a drink, along the way!
