After having lunch at the famous raman place nearby, i wanted something extra for tea break later. I ended up getting a piece of fried yam cake from this snack stall. I was given the option to select the fried one or the steamed one. It was nicely fried to give it a crisp texture and still pretty moist within with quite a few pieces of yam embedded in it. Other than yam cake, other traditional teochew kueh like the glutinous rice cake, soon kueh are available too. Recommended.
