This 招牌面 (signature noodle) $5.50 is my current fave item from this stall. It consist of a little bit of everything that is on offer on their menu. Fishball, bak chor, prawn, pig liver, mushroom, fish cakes & braised pork rib....All in one bowl! Absolutely delish..Fishball soup $3.00Huge and springy fishballs swimming in pork broth...there are bits of pork liver essence floating around..best! continue reading

My late night supper with Chai Chee Noodle Village

Feeling hungry but yet not wanting to eat too full, I decided to order minced pork noodle from Chai Chee Noodle Village. I specifically informed the uncle to add little chili as it was already past midnight and I did not wish to eat too spicy. Guess his estimation wasn't that fantastic and I ended up with one that tasted like lots of chili. I was rather upset but didn't request for a change. The msg-loaded soup didn't help to reduce the spiciness of the noodle so I had to order coffee. continue reading
