On the way the home, I decide to drop by the bakery to get something for breakfast. There is not much items available when I reach as it is almost closing. Looking at the rows of paus, I decide to get Custard Paus. As there is after 8.30pm promotion going on, it costs $1.60 after the discount. As the paus are chilled version, I have to heat them up before eating them. The custard filling is too thick, and there is no lava like texture. The skin of the pau is too thick and taste not soft enough.

I have bought a Spinach & Ham Bun ($1.20) and a Mushroom Chicken Bun ($1.28). Total costs $2.50. Prices are after a 20% discount as I bought them after 8.30pm which has closing discount. The filling inside the Spinach & Ham Bun is creamy and tasty but a bit too little and only at one side the bun.I seemed to taste only mash potato and mushroom in the Mushroom Chicken Bun. Should have been called Mash Potato Mushroom Bun instead.

While shopping in Northpoint, I has gone to the Crystal Jade My Bread bakery to get some bread for breakfast. I see this green coloured bread and check it out. At first I am wondering if it is pandan bread, but it turns out to be spinach toast. Interesting. And it costs $1.80. I decide to get it for breakfast. It is very healthy to have vegetable in bread. It tastes ok like normal bread.

Everyday after 8.30pm, the bakery will be having discount for its leftover cakes, breads and buns. Today I am just in time to catch the discount period. Not much choices are available.I bought a taro loaf ($1.60) after 20% discount for breakfast. The loaf is sliced thickly into about 6 slices. The taro filling is quite sweet, so no need to put more spread on the bread.
