I celebrated Mother's Day 2 weeks ago. Thanks to this awesome Coco Exotic cake from Four Leaves, our celebration ended with a success.Coco ExoticI wondered why I didn't notice this cake earlier! When a relative turned up with this cake, I was all buzzing around it like a bee. I could no longer hide the chocoholic in me.The layers between the cake look even more delectable. Sure enough, when we cut the cake and distributed it, everybody commented about how good it was and that they liked it, chocolate-lovers and chocolate-haters alike. I guess "balance" was the key in this. It was chocolately enough, yet not overly sweet or thick. To prevent it from being overly-generous with the chocolate element, they used some light chocolate mousse and crunchy hazelnut flakes. There were lots of these crunchy-textured pralines that gave the cake some bite (in terms of texture) and added that surprise element to it.Love it! continue reading

Mini buns Ham bun - the ham are actually quite small and i consider it insufficient for me XD.Tuna bun - the portion here thus is alright and not too saltyHot dog bun - The hot dog tastes a little bit salty, to me.For the bread texture, the ham and tuna bun is about the same. They are more a bit to the harder side except that the tuna bread inner part is a little bit more softer . For the hot dog bun wise, it is softer than that of those two and i think the hot dog bun tastes the best among all. --SGD 3*value for money? i don't thinks so. continue reading

This is so nice! I got attracted to it as it was placed at the front entrance. The petite shaped doughnut is very attractive. There are 3 flavours, original , strawberry and chocolate. I opt for the chocolate one. The texture tasted somehow like sticky pudding cake kind. It is not made of flour but more of a thicker cake texture. With bits of chocolate chips in it. It is really tasty but it's so small that can't fill my tummy. continue reading

My friend bought this Strawberry Shortcake for my birthday. The cake was nicely presented. First time trying this flavor, it was not bad. The vanilla sponge layered with strawberry slices. The strawberry look so fresh but quite sour. The sponge cake layer was quite good as it holds enough body and is not too airy. The vanilla layer was thick, it wasn't too sweet nor too creamy which was a good thing for me. The cake was soft and tasted very good. Try it yourself to find out. continue reading

Four leaves breads is one of the successful bread shops in Singapore with many outlets. The breads from this shop never fail to deliver. The Red Bean bread tasted fresh and soft with a light tinge of butter flavour. Inside the bread is a generous filling of red bean taste that is not too sweet which will not make the throat uncomfortable. To make the bread slightly aesthetically pleasing, they added 3 pieces of almond chips onto it. For me, I think the size of the bread a little small. continue reading
