This econ rice stall has been here for at least 10 years. It was the only econ rice stall I would eat from in this hawker center. You would expect a que during meal times The veg was fresh, and my fav dish were the sweet and sour pork, cabbage, braised chicken wings and stir fried bean sprouts. Things somehow took a turn when the regular cook left. then it was not as good as before. And that was also when the queue got shorter and shorter.

This is one of my most favourite stall in the hawker center. The mixed rice is cheap and the uncle always gives generous amount of the dishes. This time round I tried their deep-fried fish fillets. Fragrantly crispy outside, and the fish meat tastes well-seasoned inside. For less than $3, you get to choose two vegetables dishes and one meat dish. It's such a bargain, and so far, most of the dishes I tried are delicious.

It only costs $3.5 for the rice with 4 dishes, indeed very economic. I ordered 2 vegetables dishes, pan-fried egg with onion, as well as a piece of deep-fried minced meat patty. The uncle gave the dishes generously. Taste good too. The minced meat patty is recommended pick. The meat is well-seasoned, full flavour of spices. Deep-fried till golden colour, it creates a slightly crispiness outside, very delicious.

The vegetables here are pretty nice. I like the soft and tender sort of vege and this place does serve that. The bean sprouts are particularly juicy and yet not raw and crunchy so I like them. The meat dishes are quite ok, fairly normal. Most importantly, the prices here are reasonable. So I often frequent this place whenever I'm around the area.

The fresh looking bean sprouts caught my eye and I was glad I made the right choice. It was very crunchy indeed. Lucky me, I was also in time for some fried chicken wings that just got ready. The chicken meat was tender and yet the skin was so crispy. It was well fried with no red colourings on the meat.

Many many varieties of food items here like sweet and sour pork, fried chicken, kong bao chicken, fried eggs, braised pork, bean sprouts, lady fingers so on. They change their varieties almost on a daily basis. Got myself a kong bao chicken, bitter gourd and fried egg and tau pok. All right tasting meal if you're in a fix of what to eat. Nothing special.
