I used to frequent this hawker center stall. It was really good. After a long period of absence was hoping to experience the nostalgic taste of Ming Ji's duck rice. To my disappointment, the standard has dropped. The rice was hard and the meat was stiff. If this is thenew standard, I doubt it will be able to survive the keen competition at Whampoa Hawker Centre. No idea why is it called Hougang Ming Ji Roasted Meat Rice when it is situated in Toa Payoh. Perhaps it was the old location (yes I am a genius). Anyway, the duck rice was pretty good. The sauce was decently flavourful and not too diluted. The roasted duck was just nice, without being too oily and yet still has crispy skin. The roasted pork was yummy. Get the combined roasted duck and pork for a satisfying meal!

Secret recepi from towkay, roasted pepper chicken sold at stall here was famous. Towkay changed the seasonings with mushrooms and black pepper sauce. It was a simple, delicious & very healthy meal.Look at the rice, they used buttered rice instead of plain rice. Coated in butter and slightly browned, the rice was full of aroma. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It costed $ 6.50 per plate.

Come here for lunch,Always come here for lunch,& i saw this stall always long queue so i decided to try it,I ordered their duck rice,This store duck rice comes with vegetable,actually i find that i just tasted normal,Duck meat was quite hard ,Sauces not nice too,The only nice was their roasted meat,Very Crispy & not fatty ,Also tried their ribs rice,Ribs tasted sweet ,not bad

Came here after work to try their roasted duck rice. This stall roasted duck was delicious and the meat are very tender, sauce of the rice was tasty as well and food portion was quit generous . This delicious roasted duck stall are difficult to find around the island now a days , worth trying!
