Read the previous review so decided to give this zichar a try. Ordered their signature Xia Zhao (Fried Prawn Roll), Sweet & Sour Pork , Houfun, a Stir Fried You Bai (a type of lettuce) and Jiao Yan Crab (Salt & Pepper Crab). The texture of the houfun is pretty good with 2-3 prawns and many slices of tender pork slices. Only complaint its that it is too salty. Sweet & Sour Pork is crispy but I can't really taste the pork, only the flour coating.

Xia Zhao is big, though it is slightly different from our usual fried prawn roll as it is not crispy at all. The inner filling is very soft like spongy toufu with shreds of carrot and parsley which can be seen. It has a very strong parsley taste so if you like fried prawn ball with beancurd skin, then you will like this.

Please take note that crab is served only if you order above 1 kg. Mum ordered it in Salt & Pepper style. Once again, we find it a tad too salty but the crab is meaty and not dried even though it was first deep fried then stir fried.

Overall, it is a average zichar. Go only if you are in the area.

This time is our first ever trying out their Oyster Omelette. We can't compared the overall taste with those in Taiwan but one similar thing will be the big oysters which is quite a generous amount, considering that we ordered a small size. The oyster omelette actually tastes watery. Probably because of the oysters dispersing water out while cooking. I like omelette that is a little dry because I want that egg taste. We can't finish the dish thus packing it home. And we decided to fry it further to let it taste a little more authentic.

As for their Sweet and Sour Pork, it is a regular dish that my family ordered. As we know, the batter coated on pork meat and the sauce used in cooking this dish are important factors. Here, they manage to do it well. The size of pork meat used are quite proportion and the coating are not that thick so you get the real taste of the pork even though is mixed with the sauce during frying. They manage the frying part well thus the texture is just right with the meat texture at its acceptable range.

Shall be more adventurous the next round for their other choices in the menu.

Not the first time having dinner here but our usual will be sweet and sour pork. A little bit to dry but still bearable. The hor fun is good. My mum ask for a eggy hor fun rather than a normal one or dry type. Not bad. The gravy won't go to waste. Go with the rice. Thumbs up. Hot plate toufu is also another usual order we have. Minced meat with toufu and egg below. Hmm... if only there is more vegetable on top. Last one will be the fried prawn balls. I'm don't know what the actual name, it is li

I'm don't know what the actual name, it is like the Wu Xiang but nicer than that. A small fresh prawn in the filling that comes with every bite. Not bad right? It has been featured in tv show before. I can't remember which variety show. But definitely after that, lots of people patronise them for that fried prawn balls. Do try.
