Today break fasting i will be eating Butter naan with their sauce. It is soft n buttery, i eat together with their spicy chilli sauce and the other is like curry sauce and with the (papodom) spicy and herbs crackers. Nutrients Naan is at reasonable price of $5 only at komalas. Their service is alright and environment is clean and tidy. For those vegetarians, this is well recommended. continue reading

I have patronized this restaurant ever since I was a kid on good ol' sundays. I have always loved the biryani poori meal. The biryani rice was fragrant and had a tantalizing aroma. The meal was served with 2pcs of poori which i found a tad oily. It also came with 2 other side dishes as well as raita. Last but not least, a dessert was included (gulub jamun). I must say the standard of this restaurant has dropped tremendously. Despite the food being served warm, I found the raita (salad) slightly sourish. The kurma (one of the sides) also tasted a little diluted and did not have much flavor. continue reading

With Indian food, I only like prata, bryani, indian rojak and north indian food and am glad that at Komalas I'm able to find certain things that is simple and nice. I simply love the garlic nan here. They are freshly made upon order and along with it will be the brinjal and mixed vegetables dips( once in awhile they do have the spinach dip which is my favourite) and a piece of papadam. The nan is flavourful and every bite is filled with chopped garlic and the dips go very well with it. Just be sure to have a sweet to suck after eating it in order to clear the garlic breadth. continue reading
