The soup did not taste "natural" but felt like it was flavoured with m.s.g and there was a peppery taste to it too. There were not many ingredients to choose from but enough to satisfy. They had pan fried the ingredients first before placing them in the soup so it was a little oily but more tasty. Most of their ingredients had meat wrapped or sandwiched in it which made it more flavoursome. This time, my meal costed $4.50. The YTF tastes above average as compared to other yong tau foos and it sort of reminds me of the famous ones although not as good. It's worth the try but I'll suggest you to get the dry noodles instead as it's a more special rendition.

Lao Huang (Yong tau foo) $5.20Around 7 items can be chosen with noodles. The noodles tasted quite fine and had aflat texture and they were quite springy too. They added minced meat inside the noodles (don't have to order it, it's included). Most of the items tasted average or slightly above average (not salty) but it was still quite expensive for hawker standard prices. Not a must try.

The FoodI ordered the Hakka Yong Tau Foo served with minced meat noodles. I love the deep fried items such as the bean curd, meat ball and ngoh hiang. The minced meat is very fragrant because they fried the minced meat together with fried onions. The texture of the noodles is cooked just nice and springy too. The PriceReasonably priced at $3 which is value for moneyOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!
