I have heard that Lim Chee Guan is quite famous so I went to  the Chinatown Branch to buy some. When I arrived at the shop at around 2:00pm , there was already a long queue. It  took around 20 minutes for me to buy the honey glazed pork jerky which was filled with the fragrance of charcoal and glazed with a layer of honey.  It looked very delicious particularly those frizzled parts. The meat was juicy and tender. I have never tasted such finger-licking pork jerky. It left a wonderful taste in my

I will definitely come back for this pork jerky.

This is my first time trying the Bak Kwa from Lim Chee Guan! I went to the Orchard Ion branch before but it was sold out by then. I heard that there is always a queue and it is especially long during the Chinese New Year period. As CNY is approaching, I decided to head down and buy some back home ;) I reached this outlet around 11 am and there was already a queue. My turn arrived approximately 30 minutes later and I purchased a mixture of their Signature pork bak kwa and spicy pork bak kwa! I f

I feel that it's more oily than other brands of Bak Kwa but I like it as it is not dry at all and quite shiok! Also, the spicy one is really super spicy!

everyone raves about this bak kwa and queue up for ages. but that day, there was no queue, so i tried the bak kwa. it was way too expensive. and i was very surprised that the quality was very low! it was super oily so oil was dripping down my chin. and there was so much burnt bits it was like eating charcoal. not recommended at all! hock guan at bugis is much better! will not buy from lim chee guan again. it is the same standard as fragrance or bee cheng hiang only! nice packaging but who cares

Nice bbq chicken coins. Rather expensive and I prefer the pork slices. The location is good but at peak times such as Chinese New Year, the queue is impossibly long and it's a turn off. Luckily you can buy it at other times. The location is convenient and even during off-peak times, there is a queue! It is one of the most expensive if not the most expensive bbq pork in Singapore. Recommended for the bbq pork. It's rather greasy and oily but it's pretty good.

Tastiest ba kwa ever! Even if it's after chinese new year, i'm still craving for it. Love their golden coin ba kwa especially. Small bite size can be a convenient travelling snack. Those big ones come with fish, shrimp, pork and chicken. I always get their pork ones. It's really sweet and soft unlike the rest which is very hard and burnt. I rate this as Singapore's best ba kwa! A must try for foreigners =)

I usually buy Lim Chee Guan's Bah Kwa during Chinese New Year to let my parents have a try, because of the usual long queue, sometimes I forgo this store and move on to its competitors. I can understand why. Lim Chee Guan's Bahkwa is more 'dry' compared to its peers, hence it does not taste that oily. The meat that they use is also very tender, which is great for the older generation where they cannot chew on hard food. Hence, Lim Chee Guan's Bahkwa is quite appropriate for them.

However, because of the queue that often forms at Chinatown outlets, I usually do not patronise them if I need a dosage of Bah Kwa. They seldom have sales, but one good thing is that for every packet of bahkwa that you buy, it comes in an airtight packet, which is great for my friends to bring back overseas by flight.
