Signature Dishes
It had been a very long time since I visited this fast food joint. I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal. What's attractive about their chicken meal is that it's a strip of chicken without bone which makes eating it easy. Also it's very value for money.The skin/ batter of the chicken was a bit salty. The chicken was tender and nice. The french fries was a little hard and not as tasty as I wished it will be. Overall still good value for money. I paid $4.80 for the whole meal.

This golden deal comprises of 2 chicken pieces, fries & a drink. The chicken pieces were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I top up the meal with cheese and the cheese was super tasty. It has a faint sweet taste to it. It goes very well with the chicken and fries. The fries were crispy and delicious. It is not too oily(which it used to be). The portion is enough to fill me up. The service was fast and good.

went to watch a movie. So i decided to go and grab a bite in LJS. Since i always try the Golden deal 1. which is 2 set of chicken and fries. i thought why not try something new. I decided to go for one which comes with 2 set of chicken and prawns and it's a must for to have cheese. The prawn was fried perfectly and they were really juicy too. The fries was fried to perfection and wasn't really salty. Normally i been to other outlets where they don't really serve fries up to this standard and this was really good. Overall the whole meal was GOOD and i enjoyed it

I remember they used to be very 'stingy' over their disposible knife many years back. I always need to ask from the counter as they only give forks for customers back then. But recent years the service seem to have improved. The standard of the food remain to be good after so many years and so does the size of the chicken fillets. It seem rather small to fill the stomach so I would normally go for it in between meals. I also like that they actually added some fried battered at the side to go along with the meal. Crispy and yummy.

Whenever I head down to long john silver, I will always order their golden deal one. I think it is the most value for money meal for me. Since I am not a big eater, the portion is just right for me. I went there with a couple of guy friends and many found the two piece is not enough. They all agreed that the three piece of chicken is just right.I also love their fries, somehow it taste different from macdonalds or mos burgers fries. Well it provides a nice change once in a while. Imagine all the fast food restaurant selling the same kind of fries. I think people will stop eating fries after a while.
