currently our favourite place for buns. the size is generous. the filling is very good and well balanced. not too sweet or salty. their char siew buns are very very good. there is hardly any fatty meat, and the sauce is great. not bright red and fake or dry. it is very moist. the pastry also holds up well to dampness and steam. service is very friendly and helpful. costs about $1.50

love the yam buns here. the paste is very homemade and very slightly chunky, which is great! i don't like my yam paste too sticky or smooth. some texture is good. the pastry is nice and fluffy and freshly made on the spot. the staff is always polite and friendly. these buns are one of the best in singapore because they are so fresh and just like home made. and reasonable pricing and generous portion. costs about $1.50

Love the buns here. Not overly sweet or salty and doesn't taste artificial. Every bun is made with love and you can taste the love. The service is very friendly and polite, which is amazing. The dough is very good. Just dense enough and not too thin or thick. In fact, the dough holds very well even when transported in a plastic bag while hot. The filling is just right and the taste is well balanced. Highly recommended. Love the char siew and the yam buns!

the char siew pau here is great except i wish there was more meat. the pastry is fluffy and does not get soggy or mushy from being in the plastic bag. you can see the air bubbles in the pastry. the char siew has no colouring except the natural brown spiced colouring. the taste is well-balanced and sweet enough. the bun is not very big but not mini sized either. very friendly service and very good pau! the char siew is very tender and soft. it would be perfect if they just added more filling. but

very good buns here. amazingly, their buns transport very well. their pastry is able to withstand the steam in the plastic bag very well and never seems to melt or get mushy. the red bean bun is full of real red beans, half mashed. there is tangerine peel taste in the red bean and it's low sugar. each bun is $0.50 and the size is just right. not too big, not too small. very friendly and nice service. their kong ba pau is very good too! they sell out quite early. made on the spot.

It is not an uncommon sight but it sure is tough to find a nice smelling and moist, flavourful and yet very tender meat pau packed in a such a small size. One bite and you will know you made the right choice. The meat is very fragrant and the hot, wet sauce is tasty enough to make you droll for more.

These are very good red bean buns! Some of the beans are still whole! Not mashed up and full of sugar. The buns here are sugar reduced. And there's orange peel in it. Very unique and healthy taste. The pastry is just right and the size of the bun is generous. It costs $0.50 when most other places are putting up the prices of their buns and making smaller buns.
