Foods that we had on that day. It was quite heavy dinner. Since it is an arabic restaurant, it served more of carnivor categories. The foods are quite dried and the price is a bit pricey as well. Nevertheless the overall foods are acceptable. The serving time is quite slow as well. I remembered vividly that the waiting time was more than 20 minutes. The staffs are not attending to customers promptly and we need to search high and low for them to order. Maybe because we were seated upstairs.

I will not go for the second time to this place as i am not a fan of arabian foods. Nevertheless the environment and the ambience of the restaurant do deserves some good credits.

It was after our dinner and we decided to go somewhere to chill. Actually, somewhere where we can watch soccer. A friend suggested Nabins. The interior was most interesting. Being a lover of fruit beer, I decided to order the mango beer. The mango flavor is very strong so much as that it covered the beer taste that would otherwise be there. I hardly taste anything that resembles that of a beer. The sweetness is interesting! ($9.90)

It was quite by accident that the hubby and I stumbled in Nabins one late week night at about 10pm. We were showed to our own divan on a dais with curtains surrounding us like a four-poster bed on the first floor. As we lounged on the divan, it really made me feel like I've stepped into a lucid version of an Arabian tent straight out of the Arabian Nights. Bring on the not-too-expensive alcohols and food served on giant platters, it's just about the most romantic and exotic experience one can have right in a little corner in Arab Street. Each table also comes with its little bell so you can call for service without having to yell for waiters or wave desperately in the darkened room.

We order a meat platter complete with pita breads, shish kebab and other different types of meat. The humous dip was also fantastic. It was simply too much for 2 persons but it was worth it! The food was very authentic and delicious. Definitely recommend experiencing once. A great place to bring a date for a drink to chill out.
