Elegant high tea place, Octa Hotel was not only a café but also a boutique selling a lot of adorable handmade stuffs. Relaxing as soft music playing, atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Menu was simple and with pretty attractive picture, browsing pleasantly. We were told by a staff, they are having a promotion from now until Christmas day. Simply spend more than $70 in single receipt, we will receive a 1-for-1 Tea Set Voucher. Savoury and salty dessert was a perfect mix, I like Macaroon the most. Tea was actually free-refillable, regardless how long the time you spent there. Decent ordinary set, it was something light up my cheerful afternoon. $12.50 for the combination, the price was all right for me. continue reading

After having lunch at Oscar's, we came here for some dessert. I like the Environment here,is very relaxing. I had a cake set with tea, the earl grey tea was nice. I had the chestnut tiramisu however there's no chestnut taste at all. The creme brulee was nice, I really love it.The service was great, food normal and pricy but environment is nice, would come here again to try their other food. continue reading

Had wanted to come here for sometime now and was going to meet my frend who is very into japanese thing so i suggested this place.. The place is amazingly pretty!! and the waitresses are mostly japs.. very gentle. =)ANyway i wasnt hungry so didnt order food.. started with a mocha which is not recommended.. sorry im a coffee snob but the mocha tasted like chocolate milk! and umm.. the small latte art they try to do as u can see from the pict.. is not very impressive. Lol.Ok next up, the tea my frend ordered.. earl grey i think.. was very prettily set up in a tray with milk and syrup.. so thats a plus point but the taste was so-so.. the sandwich she had looked delicious though! its a bacon sandwich.. actually i saw the array of sandwiched n i think i could possibly return to try.. it was a pity i wasnt hungry coz i saw other pple eating the desserts n they look delicious! After 2 hours.. i had to order smthing... hehe.. so i indulged in a chocolate parfait which i must say its pretty worth the calories.. its chocolate ice cream with coco pops and corn flakes in it.. so the crunch makes the eating part fun and also makes u feel like guilty coz its cereal and not something more sinful. Oh and there were 2 chocolate truffles on top which was the cherry on the cake. Price is a little prciey esp for the quality of the coffee but other than that i have no complaints. continue reading

This cheesecake smells and looks good. It is also delicious. The prints on the top of the cheesecake make the cheesecake look very special and classy. You can see that they put a lot of effort in preparing this because they actually chopped the bird image on the cheesecakes instead of just leaving it plain.I love the biscuit base. It is not very dry and it is very crunchy. The cheese melts in your mouth and the taste of the cheese is not too overwhelming.I highly recommend this cheesecake. continue reading
