I'm kind of worry that food pricing were getting more expensive even in a food court. I still remember the times when pepper lunch was standalone by themselves as a shop and not part of any food court but nowadays its quite a norm to see Pepper Lunch conveniently available and occupying a stall in a Food court.Pepper Lunch is noted for their sizzling hot teppan with their finest and freshest ingredients. I have always enjoy the process of hearing the server or myself "sizzling all the way" to my seats with the teppan in my hands. It was also quite an enjoyable experience to add in the exquisitely sauce crafted to give a different twist in the meal.Stir and mix the rice to enjoy a sudden gush of aroma of fresh roasted pepper rice with the buttery flavoured corn kernels. It was rather addictive especially when the beef was thinly sliced.I still preferred its strong infused fragrance from the dish which it used to have when compared to the past.Cost: $10.20 continue reading

I tried the Curry Seafood Pasta Set Meal($7.80) because I was tired of trying the same pepper lunch sets every time I come here. This is one of my comfort food sources, and I trust Pepper Lunch in giving me yummy food on their sizzling hot plates! Before mixing the curry powder in ... And after! I am craving for this even at this moment of typing this. You are warned to get a set meal (with a drink - I recommend the Iced Peach Tea) because it can get quite spicy, and irritable to the throat. But it is very tantalizing to the palate and I really liked it a lot. The spaghetti has its own springy texture and complements the curry powder well. Surprisingly, it is not too dry even though the sizzling plate was seemingly taking away all the moisture. The best icing on the cake was the prawns that are juicy and fresh. Pepper lunch doesn't disappoints. continue reading

At Pepper Lunch, I always ordered beef and rice, never did I had a chance to order their pasta.Today, I decided to have a try of their pasta. Here, I ordered Aglio Olio, which was a scallop with pasta at $11.90.When the pasta came to my table, I was very surpised to see so many scallops! At this price, it was very worth. But I wonder why there was no sauce with this pasta. Only a small saucer of soya sauce. The taste of pasta was quite dry without sauce, worst was that the hot plate keep evaporating any sauces on the pasta. continue reading

I had Chicken Curry Pepper Rice for my lunch. By right it should come with cheese, but I requested them to remove it, as I prefer the one without cheese, mainly because I am not a lover of fermented food. I really love their non spicy curry! Haha! It had a strong curry taste but amazing it is not spicy at all. The Pepper Chicken Rice is another dish that I liked, soft and tender, easily to chew and swallow. The corn was very juicy and with the honey brown sauce, it makes up a wonderful lunch. As I am still using my student card, the lunch only costs $6.50. The meal comes with a cup of ice peach tea too. continue reading

Cravings for food, sizzling pan and Pepper Lunch comes to mind.Sides will be shake shake salad which comes with two packs of thousand island sauces. Yums, Healthy. Curry sauce chicken pepper rice. Didnt get the taste which was supposed to be as the curry sauce was to be added only after all the chicken and rice has sizzled and be mixed. The waiter told us that later. ohh...Chicken pepper rice and add on honey brown sauce for flavouring. continue reading
