Skipping breakfast proves to be the right strategy to tackle a lunch item having "Big Breakfast" in its name. The first thing that strikes you is how gigantic the burger is, layer upon layer. Slicing the burger in half is the way to go: One bite and you taste the tender beef patty, a slice of hard bacon, poached egg-run-wild and of course, tomatoes plus lettuce. Do not care about maintaining a petite figure here, just keep going until you call it quits. You will enjoy the afterglow.

Tried out this Cappuccino at Pique Nique and what really attracts me to try out this coffee is the cute and adorable drawing on the top of the coffee. There are other different kinds of drawings on the top of the coffee as well other than the bear looking one. It definitely makes the whole coffee session a pleasant one.The taste of the cappuccino is average but it does has it's uniqueness of taste in that coffee.

My friend ordered something else, and this is how it looks like! She commented that it is covered with tomatoes beneath the eggs! So if u're not a veggie lover, please do not order this!

Overall, I felt that the bacon was overcooked. The eggs and sausages were medicore, and given the price of $16-$20, I'll rather pay a little more to dine at wild honey that has an ever better atmosphere and better food!

Waffle is warm, crispy & fluffy! Once of the best waffle I had & it's a lot better than Strictly Pancake!

Warm and crisp! Love to attack the waffle from its crispy perimeter. The ice-cream really compliments the waffle and it's def' creamy. You can choose to ask for more caramel if you have a really sweet tooth like me. (;The staffs there are really friendly and you can expect a really good ambience. Good place to spend some quality time during afternoon tea or treating yourself for a nice snack after a long day of work.

It was my first try at pique nique after passing by it for so many times.

Personally I love breakfast food and I had Farmer's Omelette while my friends had long island and big breakfast burger.
The farmer's omelette had sauteed mushrooms, potato, bacon and hotdog wrapped inside the juicy and thick omelette. It was very delicious needless to say. One of the better breakfast food I'd eaten at a lower cost at $12.

After main course was desserts of course. I highly recommend the Chocolate Caramel and Passion fruit Meringue. The whoopie cake was a big disappointment. The chocolate cake was hard and dry and it was almost tasteless. I had no idea what I was eating except for a very lousy cake.
Chocolate Caramel is the perfect for chocolate lovers, thick and sweet.
Passion fruit meringue was not on the sweet side, it had a sour and refreshing taste.
The cakes cost around $7 ~ $8.

The waffle took some time to come which i take as a good sign that it is made on order. The thick waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chocolate icecream should be of good quality as it was creamy and rich. Pairing the contrasting temperatue of the cold icecream with the hot waffle, and adding some whipped cream in every mouthful made me feel totally on cloud nine! Enjoy!!

Their ambience was cosy and is a good place for high-tea but i'm here for lunch instead. The table was a tad lower than usual which is not ideal for lunch. We sat at the back and the waiter's vision is blocked by a pillar of wall in front thus we had a hard time trying to get their attention. I order their mushroom mac and cheese which is priced at $16, it looks dainty but the serving was small. The cheese was yummy but the mushroom tasted overcooked but overall it tasted rather yummy.

Pique Nique is a nice place for you to hangout with your friends and have a cuppa with a slice of their cakes. Check out their teatime promotion if you are want to try out their cakes and drinks. Much cheaper

staff was quick to serve when we first arrived. because we only wanted a short meal, we didn't order main course but instead we ordered a smaller dish, cheese macaroni and also a slice of cake, whoopie pie as recommended by the staff. I would say that the macaroni was not worth the money because it's just more of baking cheese and macaroni together. perhaps ordering the main course would be more satisfying and worth it. thankfully, whoopie pie was good though!

Tried out the food at pique nique. The food was not too bad, tasted quite good. Service was prompt as well. it is more of a western style of food, and there were quite a lot of food items on their menu as well. I think for their cakes and pastry items, the presention and colour looks even better than the cooked food item. But their cake was not too good. Looks pretty though. Their macroons tasted not too bad.
