Polar Tuna Puff Polar puffs are one of my favourites around because of its crusty, buttery pastry. The puff tastes exceptionally delicious when it is warm because the buttery pastry will be crustry and the slightly saltish flavour of the pastry will be more pronounced. The tuna filling is also delicious, it is not too dry and it is a good complement to the pastry. Although it can be quite heaty eating them, but once a while, it is alright to indulge. continue reading

Upon going around to meet some of my friends... i wanted a light snack... got the chance to try out the much talked about swiss roll... It is quite ok... the taste was simple and there were quite a number of choices... There was the normal swiss rolls... the sugar coated swiss role and of course the flavored swiss rolls...The swiss must be really happy to invent the rolls...The queue was so super disorganized.... I could not help it but to think that it was like a pack of dogs chasing for some food... I mean seriously...? Then waiting there for almost more than 5 mins... i was still waiting.... they were serving all the other people first and i was like whoa... luckily i have the patience to wait and not blow it.. The swiss may not be happy about this.... But in any case life goes on... continue reading

Just a quick snack of chicken pie from Polar as I rememberedthat I enjoyed eating it in the past. From the looks of it, itlooked rather dull and not at all appetising. On first bite, the first thought that came into my mind was the pastry used tobe that thick? Although slightly flavorful, the fillings were pathetic and paste-feel. My mouth felt pretty dry after eating only half the chicken pie. continue reading

This is an awesome cake i bought during Christmas. Its kit-kat cake. Its really special and its my first time seeing one(; They designed the cake until it looked like a house. The house roof is made of chocolate kit kt. When u take down the roof, it is a chocolate cake! The chocolate cake is very fluffy and the chocolate cream is not too sweet. The door is made of a biscuit and it is quite crunchy. Infront of the house is cream that looks like snow and a snowman and a reindeer. Doesn't it looked like a real christmas day scenario?? And, they represent it with cake...its so special. continue reading
