Signature Dishes
I could smell the whiffs of pandan fragrance from afar and knew immediately it was from the waffles at Prima Deli. There was not a very long queue at that time so I decided to take the opportunity to get a piece of it. I ordered the plain one because I do not really like their spreads which make the waffle quite sweet or salty at times. The waffle was crispy at the ends and soft in the middle, quality waffles that only Prima Deli offers.

They are selling buns and cupcakes and little cakes here. It's quite reasonably priced but I am not a fan of Prima Deli as their products seem to be too soft and airy sometimes. The chocolate cupcake was alright. Nicely decorated for X'mas and the chocolate cream wasn't too sickening. The cupcake itself was alright as well. The shape was nice and big. Service is a bit slow as the ladies are gossiping. Easy and convenient location. Lots of X'mas goodies on offer.

It was a xmas present from my mum friend& The cookies look very cute ,we was so excited to try it together but was abit dissapointedThe cookies already "lou feng",so is not crispy,those eyes,mouth...was made of icing,so it was abit too sweet,& the cookies was actually a bit blendless,not much butter fragranceSo overall i rate 5/10

The waffles from prima deli are among the best out there, and no matter where i went, there will always be a queue for the crispy on the outside and soft on the inside waffle. So imagine my surprise when i saw the outlet at orchard 313, and there was simply no one there. And there was no fragrant pandan smell associated with waffles near the shop too. It made me wonder for a moment if all the other outlets had used man-made fragrance to attract customers instead, which i certainly hoped not. Anyway, once i ordered and they had my waffles done, i could faintly smell the same familiar sweetness of the waffle. One good thing about this is that they would not compromise quality for speed. I had to wait quite a while for it. And they actually "air" it before putting the waffles into the paper bag to prevent trapping of heat and making the waffles all soft and flimsy.

This is my second time visiting this PrimaDeli outlet and I must say you can never go wrong with their waffles. I ordered a piece of kaya waffle as it's been ages since I had one. The waffle was very well done- crispy but not burnt. Together with the kaya spread, it gives me great satisfaction with each bite. The staff was polite and friendly as she handled me my change. Would be great if PrimaDeli starts offering durian flavored waffles like some other bakeries do.
