We happened to be at Far East and decided to head here as we were craving spicy seafood. I ordered Mee Goreng. The Mee Goreng was tasty but had too much lettuce and it was rather oily. My friend ordered the tom yam soup, and it was horrible. It tasted powdery. Not authentic at all. I seriously don’t like I will visit this stall anymore. It is at the 4th floor of Far East plaza, not much people in the restaurant during dinnertime. I supposed that everyone tried will not come back again. continue reading

Hotplate Beancurd at Sakura was good as usual! I love how it always comes with an egg layer below The beancurd was really soft and good! I like how the dish also comes with other vegetables like corn. Extra points for this dish because it also has mushrooms! Service there is average though... continue reading

The hotplate seafood e-mee at sakura is quite tasty. It is a dish that you have to try. Unlike other places, the mee was well cooked thus making the dish even tastier. It was not that spicy but it was still nice. There was sotong, prawns and mushrooms in the dish and it was well cooked also. Overall, the dish was of satisfactory level. continue reading

I was walking around far east plaza with my girlfriend when we both got hungry and started looking for somewhere we can have dinner. I noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was called sakura halal thai, their food were zi char style. we ordered their hor fun and sweet and sour chicken. Both were nice and tasty. The chicken portion was quite a lot but quite pricey. Nevertheless it was yummy! continue reading

My friend and I got to far east and it was lunch time, we were both famished and all the hawkers were packed with the working crowd. We walked passed sakura halal thai and it was not too crowded. While looking at the menu outside, a waitress came out and approach us. Surprised by such a pleasant service, we decided to give it a try. I ordered a plate of sambal kang kong and white rice. The kang kong cost me eight dollars, I guess it was quite pricey. I should not have succumb to such good service and end up paying more. continue reading
