I am a regular at Redhill Hawker Centre. One of my favorite stalls here for morning breakfast is the Braised Duck Noodles. Often there is a queue, but it moves fast. You have a choice of yellow noodles or kway teow noodles. The chilli is also potent, but it adds a good kick to the noodles. You can ask for a little chilli first if you are worried you can't take the heat. The soup on the side is also good and flavourful. They sometimes sell out by 10am, so go early to avoid disappointment!

I wanted something different for lunch. I decided to skip the rice but to have a bowl of braised duck kway teow. The nicely cooked kway teow has got a perfect softness. It was then served with a good portion of braised meat. The boneless braised duck meat has the tender and the juicy texture. The star got to be the braised sauce. When it was tossed well with the braised sauce and the chilli, this bowl of braised duck kway teow has got an unexpected pleasantness.
