If you're looking for mid-priced Japanese food at Suntec City, this place is great! I ordered their signature Shiyu ramen and it was really delicious with salty broth, springy noodles, and tender pork. Ordered a side dish of gyoza too which were good and stuffed with ground pork and veggies, but nothing special. I think the gyoa cost about $5 for a plate of 5. Service was very prompt and I like that green tea is complimentary for all diners. They were good with the refills, too!I ate here bec

I ate here because I had bought a Groupon for Shin Sapporo -- 2 bowls of ramen for $15. The regular price is $10-17 per bowl, but I would still be happy paying that amount for good ramen, excellent service, and free green tea. If you eat at off-peak hours like 5pm there is a discount.

I'll definitely be back.

Selling a wide range of Japanese Ramen, this Japanese restaurant offers refill of ramen for its customers as long as you still have soup base in your bowl! The ramen is really springy and chewy, the soup base is slightly salty with a good miso taste and the ingredients of the soup base is quite a lot ranging from pork slices to sweet corn, vegetables half boiled juicy egg! I liked the egg the most as it melts in your mouth and you don't even need to bite too much as it is soft. As for the pork s

Overall a good bowl of japanese ramen recommended for all to try!

It has half a hard boiled eggs, corn, char siew meat, some bamboo shoot, beansprouts, sea weed and the soup broth was rich and tasty. The soup spoon they used were made of wood and was big enough to scoop the soup. It costs us around $32 for me and a friend but it was worth it.

After reading several reviews of the relatively new ramen joint, my gf and I decided to give it a try and see how it fare against the other established ramen joint such as Tampopo/Ippudo and etc.

We arrived there on a fine saturday afternoon and surprised that we were the only customer.
We were attended by the waitress prompty and ordered two serving or their signature 'Shin Sapporo Ramen'. The menu was simple and not many choices available thou.

We were given some simple introduction of their ramen and was recommended to add in a slice of butter to enhanced the soup base.

The ramen was significant different from the one we used to had. Its much more thicker and springy. But sad to say that it wasnt very much to my liking.
The soup base was decent and easy on its sodium content - one of the better soup base than the other ramen joints.

The tamago at Shin-Sapporo has to be just about the closest to perfect half boiled egg I have ever encountered. Tender, bouncy whites encasing an orange, soft, slightly mushy, semi-liquid, jelly-like centre that explodes in the mouth.

Charsiew was thin, lean and somehow fat - a very good mixture.

Overall, its an above average ramen place if you have a liking for traditional and authentic ramen.

Shin-Sapporo's menu features four common ramen soup bases - Shio, Shoyuu, Tonkotsu and Miso. It also boasts the different types of noodles which are made fresh daily. Having been to other ramen establishments, I couldn't help but to make comparison with what I had here. While the broth of my Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen($15) was rather 'humble' for my taste buds, the noodles tasted a little raw and somewhat 'separated' from the soup.

On contrary my partner's Shin-Sapporo Special Ramen($15) didn't disappoint. Its thick curly noodles were smooth and resilient, rich in flavours of the miso broth. No complaint about the tender yakibuta chashu and runny egg as well.

Though right now I don't have a good reason for another visit, I will nevertheless still recommend Shin-Sapporo Ramen to the those who prefer a lighter version of this Japanese delicacy.
