Signature Dishes
Good:- Interesting rooftop setting for a romantic dinner.- Ordered Chicken cutlet with rice. They used brown rice instead of the ordinary white rice and the fried chicken cutlet taste fine with some peanuts on top of it and some spicy sauce. It is also served with some vegetable. I like the fact that it is served in a bento-like plate, which makes it look presentable and unique.Not-so-good:- Ordered chicken wings and they taste dry. Fortunately there was a sweet & spicy thai sauce to dip.- It started to drizzle and i had to change to another table which was under the small shelter. If it pours, it would not be a very nice place to dine at anymore.- There wasn't exactly much scenery since the building is quite short. Also, it is not easy to find this building and is located quite far away from Little India MRT.Overall:May not return again. It was nice to experience it for once and the food was average. But i will be looking for some other places with nicer views and better food.

Was treated to a feast by one of my buddy before I leave for China at Skive 43. Its really a great place to dine, especially for wedding anniversaries and special occasion. Its a rooftop bar, which means you can see the sunset, if you dine around 6pm. Also, you can see the surrounding area. The lady boss was very courteous, polite and always checking on us, whether if the food is up to standard and if its enough. Also, the lady boss also gave us their recommended dishes, which were really great. We ordered its Luncheon Meat Fries ($10), Cheesey Fries ($10), Mango Smoked Duck ($12), Soft Shell Crab ($14), Terikyaki Mushroom Pizza ($14) and two cocktails ($12 & $14). The portion of these dishes are big , definitely more than enough to serve 3 people. Luncheon Meat Fries is rather normal, just luncheon meat cut into strips and served with a mild chilli sauce. As for the cheesey fries, the portion is really generous, its served with garlic and onions on top of the cheese, which makes the dish stands out. Mango Smoked Duck and Soft Shell Crab are recommended dishes by the lady boss, both of the dishes are unique and delicious. Smoked Duck served with some appetizing vegetables and mango, which makes the dish sweet and appetizing. As for the soft shell crab, its fried to crispy and great for those who likes to eat crabs. As for the teriyaki mushroom pizza, nothing really special, just normal pizza with mushroom and chicken bites. My cocktail was Lychee Martini and my buddy's Harvey Wallbanger was rather normal. All in all, my favorite is still its Mango Smoked Duck.

Friend bought a deal from Groupon & brought me here for a chill-out as we have not met for almost 4 years. It is quite difficult to find this place as it is located at rooftop of Lofi Inn and the signage is not very prominent. The building is where Lofi Inn is at the junction of Dickson Road & Perak Road. There is a Church at the junction, which is just across the street from Lofi Inn. To get to Skive, you need to go in to Lofi Inn & take the lift up to the rooftop. A huge jacuzzi is seen when you enter this place, but I reckon it's not in use anymore. As I mentioned, it's located at the roof top, so it's quite dangerous to chill-out here cos it also means you will have to risk getting caught in rain, which is what happens to us Menu for food available hereWe ordered a bucket of 5 beers & some food stuffs for sharingSpicy Top Shell - Quantity of top shell is quite little & it's all chopped into quite small piece. It comes with lots of lettuce & huge raw onionsWarm mushroom salad comes with lettuce, tomatoes & few types of mushroom. A little bland Mango Smoked Duck Pizza is nice thou. Smoked duck with mango, diced tomatoes & capsicums. Pizza dough is pretty crispySkive's Platter - Honey glazed pork belly is crispy & sweet; mid joint wing is crispy, not over-fried; Cheesy Fries (I didn't try thou). The one last item is listed as luncheon meat but it was served with crispy tao-pok in rojak dressingIt's a pretty nice place for chill-out but as I mentioned, it's located at rooftop, so be prepared to be caught in the rain!
