Anyway i recommended to my friends Salted Mr Brown and Cookie Monster. Cookie monster is like the chocolate version of cookies and cream which i adore. Salted Mr Brown is salted caramel which i think is not too bad.

We got it with waffles and so it was like heaven, savouring hot and cold at the same time. What better ways to cool ourselves down then with ice cream right? It came with chocolate sauce. I think customers can choose between chocolate and caramel sauce?

I decided to try some flavours that are not commonly available elsewhere. Wanted to try their Chai but it wasn't available, so I got their Coconut and Earl Grey flavours instead. Both flavours tasted exactly like how the original food/drink tasted and it was a pleasant surprise. The Coconut ice cream had coconut bits in it too! I really enjoyed their ice cream and will definitely be back for more

I like how this ice-cream parlour is hidden behind the bustling side of Holland Village. It makes for a good chilling place to catch up with friends. Only con may be that, this parlour is always crowded even on a weekday noon.

The Daily Scoop is my go-to place for ice cream whenever I'm in Holland Village. And it's always crowded at night with their limited seats available. We had the waffle with a scoop of Nutty Macadamia to share, which came drizzled with chocolate sauce. While we wished there had been more sweet lines of chocolate lashed over the dessert, the waffle carried a good texture and was firm to chew, and went really well the the creamy yet refreshing notes of the ice cream.

This place is known for its creative range of flavours. Also, it is known that the ice-cream are home-made. I tried a few flavours, and two of my favourite are Macademia, and LYCHEE MARTINI. The macademia nut one is fragrant, with a milky flavour that leaves an unforgettable aftertaste. The LYCHEE MARTINI on the other hand is so refreshing. The lychee flesh adds a chewy texture. It left me chewing on the fantasy of eating it again soon!

Good place to hangout / chill. Located along Chip Bee Gardens @ Holland Village. Try to head there during the weekdays it'll be less crowded and quieter. Thai milk tea flavour ice cream is really really really good I thought I was drinking ice thai milk tea in bangkok! We had the lemon zest something and also the avocado flavour too. It was still ok but the taste wasnt as strong compared to the thai milk tea flavour.

Dailyscoop does not have many exotic flavours like udders ice cream or toms' palette ice cream. Their ice cream are decent but not one that you have to go all the way down to give it a try. The place is cozy but very crowded with NUS people since it's located in holland v. I tried the minty mint ice cream and I love it! There's some chocolate chunks within the ice cream to add a texture to the ice cream.

One of my favourite places to have ice-cream! Their cones are too pretty to be missed too! This time round, I got Salted mister brown and hazelnut icecream flavours on a chocolate coated rainbow cone. rainbow toppings required an additional topup amount (<$1). 1 flavour costs $3.20 while double flavours cost $5.60. The hazelnut ice-cream reminded me of nutella ice-cream. There were not much hazelnut flavour. It was still good too. I can't wait to be back to try their brownies!

So I finally got to try their waffles! The waffles are served freshly baked and they look so crisp on the outside. To my surprise, it wasn't. It was soft but not soggy. We finished it within 5 minutes after it was served (plus all the phototaking). The waffles have a great texture however it lacked that waffle fragrance. Still worth a try though there are better waffles out there.

(+) Interestingly unique concoction of sweetness, bitterness and surprisingly saltiness.
(+) Judicious amount of sea salt to leave a subtly salty aftertaste.
(+) Brown sugar provided the sweetness punch, light yet delectable.
(+) Broken bits of brownie chunks gave the varied crunch.
(+) A good overall mouthfeel from the smooth rich ice cream and brownie.

(+) It was so good that upon sampling, we had to get a scoop onto our waffle set.
(+) A piquant first taste that kept the taste-buds tantalized, craving for more.
(+) Very fresh ingredients, packing a zesty punch.
(+) Could taste strands of the coconut and even chunks of the coconut flesh!
(+) Homogeneously rich and smooth ice cream.

Waffle
(+) Did not taste overly sweet nor awful, a simple 'okay' waffle.

(-) I would suggest just going there for the ice cream and skip the waffle.
(-) Despite it freshly baked, it was soft and soggy, maybe I just could not quite appreciate it.

There was the option of brownie or waffle to go along with the ice cream for the set deal at S$5.80. I would most definitely give the former a shot on my next visit.

Among the many ice cream parlours, such as international franchisees, it might be worthwhile to pay attention to this hidden local gem, which hand-make all their ice-cream in store anytime between 1-7 p.m. With 40 and more flavours to boast, ranging from fruity sorbets to connoisseurs' choices and 'fun-kyreations' to go down the line, you might find yourself spoilt for choice when faced with an array of interesting unique flavours.

What impressed me most about this boutique artisan ice-cream parlour was it delivered more than just good quality ice cream but rather top-notch sensitivity to customers' needs. In addition to the relentless amount of sampling offered for us to try out before we decide on our choice of ice-cream, there was a tank of plain water and tissue paper for the customers usage (free-flow). As we all know, indulging on rich and creamy ice-cream calls for some plain water to wash it down and this was humbly catered for on a corner table at the back of the cafe. Not forgetting the all important high chairs for babies too!

You can really taste the avocado in the creamy ice cream, which had the right amount of gula melaka in it. The lychee martini was good too, the lychee flavor came through well and it was refreshing. Can't really tell if there was vodka in it though. Enjoyed my ice creams here, will be back next time to try out their other flavors.

It fits its description very well: the best of both worlds for coffee and chocolate fiends. The mao shan wang was also smooth and rich with durian flavour. The durian fruit fleshed has been pureed into this ice cream flavour and you can taste some of the durian pulp embedded in the the ice cream. I did think the durian flavour could have been stronger though.

On my most recent visit I tried the Lychee Martini (light and fruity with a hint of vodka), Chendol (good flavor from the gula melaka, but I don't like the bean pieces) and Mango Wasabi (strong mango flavor, but the wasabi was very mild - you only taste it at the beginning).

After the samples, I decided to go with the Salted Mr Brown which is a carmel salt brownie ice cream. It's really delicious without being too strange
One scoop in a bowl costs $3.20 or you can pay a bit more for a waffle cone.

The ambiance is very cute with cartoons on the walls and I love that there is self-serve water. It does get busy at night, so come early if you want to get a table.

The last brownie I had was a disappointment and the desire to find a real delicious brownie continues to burn within me.
But now, I found it!!! The delicious yummy wasn't from a dessert shop which specializes in cakes and macarons. It came from an ice-cream specialist shop - the daily scoops. Brownie is a complement of ice-cream and I wouldn't be surprise to find brownies in ice-cream specialist shop.

I ordered brownie with pur pearl ice cream which cost $5.80. Pur pearl ice cream tasted like pulut hitam. I find it quite special and unique because I felt like I was eating a spoonful of pulut hitam. Now comes the exciting part.
The brownie was very dense, "fudgy" and moist. Each mouthful was full of cocoa, sweetness and happiness. MMM... YUMZZ

In comparison with the brownie I ate last time, this is 100 times far better.
Please do give the brownie a try if you're craving for a chocolate overload day. ^_^
