Using Tung Lok voucher spend $100 and discount $50. Usually people will spend more than a $100, but the waiter really helps us and mentioned $8 more to reach $100 from the menu that i ordered. I ordered shark bone soup, seafood platter, and 2 desserts (beancurd with avocado, yam paste with gingko nuts in coconut. First time saw yam paste inside the coconut, taste good with a coconut smell. I like the beancurd with avocado, a special combination. And i like the fried mango prawns from the seafood platter with mayonnise sauce. continue reading

Good place for Tim Sum after a morning walk on weekends at East Coast. I love to come here to Yum Cha in the mornings with family. The Tim Sum is fresh and if you go early, there's an early bird discount and not as crowded as normal hours. My fav dish at this restaurant would be the Seafood Soup in Melon! continue reading

After a morning walk at east coast park, decided to dropby this Tung Lok Seafood restaurant in marine cove for dim sum and tea. Ordered a chinese tea,a plate of fried prawn dumpling and char siew bao. For the fried prawn dumpling,it was very fresh, crispy and tasty. Dipped with tartar sauce,it was nice and delicious. As for their char siew bao,it was the very authentic type. Bao was very freshly steamed with juicy meat inside. I had a very filling breakfast that day. continue reading

It was our turn to give treats so we decided to go for dim sum buffet at Tung Lok Seafood. The dim dum buffet is priced at $19.80 ++ per person but it requires a minimum of four person. We ordered many items from the menu and I find that the standard was just so so. The skin of the cheong fun was very thick and not very smooth. The carrot cake was a bt oily and does not taste as good as those from crystal jade. The nicer items were the sambal kangkong, Barbecued roast meat combination platter, deep fried fish head and belly with salted pepper. But for that price, what can we ask for as you can have many items as you like. If I remembered correctly, during that time UOB credit cards has a 3 for 1 promotion. Quite worth it. continue reading

According to colleague, this is a place that my boss usually treats when there's visiting staffs from other countries~A la cart style buffet is great for casual business lunch, u can eat all kinds of diff things u wan yet avoid the mess of walk around to pick up food. Food was of good standard and just nice portion for everyone to try out most things. Our westerner guests were happy and all of us left with a super full stomach (tat makes us dun wanna drive back to work...). Service was pretty good too~Pricey for a weekday lunch but very worth it~ continue reading
