The Seafood nabe was very delicious.. with pieces of scallops and lots of veg and mushroom.. making for a deliciously healthy meal. Broth was light but you can taste the falour of seafood and mushrooms in it

My boyfriend ordered the salmon sashimi, which comes in thick slices of succulent fish.. I would say the quality is mid-range, abit short of those at Sushi tei.

I find that the portions were abit small for the price they charged.. so in the end we ordered another okonomiyaki to share.. which then became too filling. The oko was huge comparatively, but i didnt like the mayonaise on top because it was abit too much. Other than that, taste is quite normal
It was good but nothing too memorable.

Overall I would say it makes for nice place to dine.. atmosphere is quiet and romantic but I find the food rather overpriced.

Waraku at vivo city , this restaurant gave seats that are overlooking the sea. You can see Sentosa island from the restaurant and occasion boat sail by. Very nice environment. The sushi is very fresh and unique. We tried the deep fried prawn sushi which I like the presentation. It is like a dragon boat. Also I like the salmon and avocado sushi , salmon and avocado taste good together. The grill scallop is also juicy and fresh. We also had beef hot stone pot rice. Although the origin is Korean b

Although the origin is Korean but this Japanese restaurant does it quite well. The rice taste very good with flavorful beef and egg and vegetables and mushroom all mixed together. Total cost for this meal is about $80!

This Japanese restaurant has quite a traditional Japanese decoration and furnishing here. The service was quite good and prompt as well. Had their sashimi which is very fresh, light and chewy. The bacon wraps would have been better if is abit crispy and the texture somehow taste a bit too moist and chewy. Love the udon soup as the soupbase was very sweet and fragrant. The udon is very smooth and portion was quite a lot as well. The fried vegetable tempura are very crispy and not too oily.

Waraku Japanese (under a new banner Washokodokoro) finally opens in Vivo City Harbourfront. This new outlet features a new signature menu (Note that the menu here is different from other Waraku's outlets) and boasts of a great view across the water to Sentosa. Due to the huge turnout, we are led to a table by the kitchen. One could see that the staffs are all very busy, but they still work quite fast.

From a choice of orange juice, pineapple juice, ice lemon tea and cranberry juice, we selected orange juice and cranberry juice, which are both served quite fast. The cranberry juice which I am having tastes not too sweet.

The bowl of wakame udon is simply served, topped with crispy tempura batter bits and sliced fish cakes. The udon tastes soft and chewy.

The maki is topped with crunchy ebiko, crispy tempura batter bits and spicy creme sauce, which created such a impact in the mouth with its spicy taste and crunchy texture.

The mashed potato looks simple and colourful with different vegetables inside, which even kids will like it. It has a sweet and creamy taste.

The plate of Tempura Moriawase is coated in a nice light golden and crispy thin batter. The prawn tastes quite fresh and big. The seaweed tempura is quite an unique item for a tempura. With a coat of the tempura batter and a dip into the tempura sauce, it does not taste like seaweed.

Overall the food presented today is simple and fresh. I am looking forwards to try the new items in its menu. Hopefully next time I can get a view of Sentosa.
