I was craving for some spicy food and pasta so I decided to get aglio olio. There was a generous amount of prawns and they were all fresh. The prawns were nicely cooked and was not tough nor soft. Their version of aglio olio was quite wet and there were many chopped chilli padi around making the pasta very spicy. Even though I could take spicy food, it was a tad too spicy for me. Portion was just right for me. continue reading

I went to try out the zi char stall at café by the quad. Apparently it does not have a stall on its own and is located at the western stall, it is also manned by the western stall owner. I ordered their sweet and sour chicken with rice. the sweet and sour chicken turned out really nice, the sauce was sweetish and sourish. They actually deep fried the chicken till crispy. the meat is very crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. It went really well with rice. they also added a lot of garnish like cucumber and onions to the dish. The portion was quite a lot too. quite value for money. continue reading

This chicken chop is nice and delicious. There are other sides like wedges which are very crispy, salad and bread. It's definitely value for money given its portion. The food is served rather fast and the place is suitable for chilling out but it would be better if the place is air-conditioned. continue reading
