recently addicted to ya kun kaya toast, always want to grab it for snack whenever i pass by any ya kun outlet. although the toasts are more expensive than those normal coffee shop, the bread and kaya spread are much better. actually bought their kaya spread before to try make kaya toast at home but somehow the taste is just not as good. also tried other type of toast such as the cheese and ice cream version but i think the standard kaya toast with butter is still the best =)

I was celebrating the birthday of one of my fiends and we all ordered coffee, kaya toast and half-boiled egg. It was an economical breakfast and we all love it! The half-boiled egg was very good and with a dash of pepper, it tasted even better! The kaya toast tasted splendid. It was very crisp and it melted in my mouth. The coffee is aromatic. The best thing is the coffee as it keeps me awake and help me to keep myself alert. I can then start the day afresh with a fabulous breakfast!

I am addicted to nice Kaya Toast. And Ya Kun is second to Killiney Rd original Kaya toast.We are usually in Orchard every weekend, so I'll get 2 serves of Kaya Toast - one at Killiney and one at Ya Kun. I am just so in love with Kaya Toast! All I want is Kaya Toast.The Takashimaya stall is a takeaway only as there are no seats.
