The first time i visited this restaurant was because of my cousin's wedding. I found the food very nice so decided to bring my fiancee to try them out.The service staff was very friendly. The moment we were brought to our seat, the staff asked us what kind of tea we would like. I thought serving free chinese tea was very common in chinese restaurant, so i asked for the chrysanthemum tea. Never that i thought that the pot of tea actually cost me $12! I think it would be better if the staff remind

I thought serving free chinese tea was very common in chinese restaurant, so i asked for the chrysanthemum tea. Never that i thought that the pot of tea actually cost me $12! I think it would be better if the staff remind us before we ordered rather to catch me off guard when i received the bill. Other than this ordeal, the food was really good. Pig’s Intestines with Preserved Vegetables in Soya Sauce
Braised with soy sauce, the pig intestine was soft and chewy. They cooked it really well as it does not have the foul smell of intestine at all. ( $9.90++) Sautéed Prawns with Pineapple - Deep fried prawn sauteed with sweet and sour pineapple sauce. Even the pineapple was deep fried and it really goes well with the prawns. Highly recommended ( $18++) Braised Squid, Bamboo Shoots and Mushrooms in Thick Soup - I am a big fan to thick soup. The squid was fresh and chewy. The thick broth was sweet ( due to the freshness of the squid) and the bamboo shoots & mushroom add on to the texture of the soup. One thing to note that they only served this soup in 4 pax serving. Well, it was really good so even with only me and my fiancee, we managed to finish to the last drop! ( $18++)
