While the food here is relatively good (they serve ayam penyet and ayam bakar as well as other indon favourites like mee soto and gado gado etc), the service is so unbearably slow!! Ugh. Prices range from around $5+ and up, the Ayam Bakar is $5.90 and you get a choice whether you want thigh/breast.The ayam bakar is grilled on the spot, and I wished there was more of that great gravy to go with the rice the breast was slightly dry for my liking, but the tempeh and the taukwa were excellent acomp
The ayam bakar is grilled on the spot, and I wished there was more of that great gravy to go with the rice the breast was slightly dry for my liking, but the tempeh and the taukwa were excellent acompaniments. The chicken was aromatic, savoury and had the distinct barbecue flavour. A special mention would go to the chilli -this blended concoction really hits the spot. It's way spicier than it looks and it goes great with the tempeh and the chicken. Pity there wasn't more gravy though, it was a bit dry.
