There were two version of carrot cake, white or black. I ordered the white carrot cake. The wait for the carrot cake to be ready was quite long, more than 15 minutes, because the chef cooked each type of menu by batches at a time.

The piping hot carrot cake texture was slightly crispy on the surface and soft inside. There was a lot of egg taste in the carrot cake. I felt that the carrot cake was lacking the saltiness taste of preserved vegetables.

Overall, the carrot cake tasted average, I would still prefer the carrot cake at Toa Payoh Hawker Centre.
