More than 20 years ago, Mr. Jean-Marc Bruno, a french ice cream maker and graduate from Lenôtre school in France (best pastry and desserts’ school in France) participated in a joint venture, thus Fanny Ice Cream is born. With recipe made from 100% natural ingredients flown in from all over the world, Fanny aims to be the crème de la crème when it comes to ice-cream.
With multiple franchises in Vietnam and supply to hotels, Singapore is the first off shore franchise and located in the midst of a rich heritage, Katong.
Initial impression of Fanny - Swensens + Ice Cream Gallery.
We ordered from the Scoop and Specialty segment.
Scoop: Dark Chocolate and Baileys.
Despite the unexpected 'melted' presentation, they both tasted OUT OF THIS WORLD! Flavours were delightfully intense and texture was thick, especially the Dark chocolate which tasted like a molten version of a ganache.
Specialty: Mesona (Chocolate, Coconut, Green Tea, Vanilla)
It was a wrong move to try the Scoop ice cream before the Specialty as it made the latter seem watered down, but it was still above average!
Amazing Ice Cream affair here at Fanny despite their simple layout and ambiance.
