Orange Lantern isn't the best Vietnamese food you'll ever have, but it certainly isn't the worst.I've only eaten here at lunch when there are good value sets, so the fact that I'm paying about $15 for a starter, main and drink contributes to the fact that I have an overall positive opinion about this place. Orange Lantern isn't the best Vietnamese food you'll ever have, but it certainly isn't the worst.

I've only eaten here at lunch when there are good value sets, so the fact that I'm paying about $15 for a starter, main and drink contributes to the fact that I have an overall positive opinion about this place.

There are a number of choices for each course, but for the started I always get the summer roll. These are the fresh ones (not deep-fried) and taste so fresh and healthy with all those raw veggies and herbs.

For the main, I usually go for the noodle salad one with grilled chicken on the side. It's a fresh and flavorful meal without being too heavy. There are also soups (pho bo) and curry dishes which are also pretty good.

You can top up a couple dollars to get a cup of thick Vietnamese coffee to finish the meal -- always worth it
