We decided to settle lunch at the Discovery Food Centre during a recent visit to USS. As a tourist attraction, we kind of expected prices to be high, but it's really really exorbitant to eat here. I had a $10.50 chicken rice set. This food court served other food like noodles and malay food but they were more or less priced at $10.50 set meals too. I had a $10.50 chicken rice set. This food court served other food like noodles and malay food but they were more or less priced at $10.50 set meals too. To be fair, the hainanese chicken rice set was decent. The chicken was smooth, the rice fragrant and it was served with bean sprouts and achar. There was also a dessert, some chilled soya bean pudding which wasn't really good. My only main gripe is being able to eat better quality chicken rice on mainland at a third of the price. But then again, we are in USS I guess and cheap food is scarce on this theme park.
