Think Baguette and one might naturally relate to classy European restaurants or upmarket bakeries. But I think I've found just the perfect exception with Mr. Baguette at Golden Mile Food Centre.Just one of the hawker stalls among many, Mr. Baguette first caught my attention with wafts of aroma of fresh baked pastries and bread. What really piqued my curiosity was the usage of baguettes in most items on the menu, be it tart, toast or even pizza! One of the signature dishes on the menu is the Mr. B

One of the signature dishes on the menu is the Mr. Baguette Tart - a play on traditional egg tart perhaps, with the custard nestled in a cup made of baguette, toasted to a crisp on the outside. A new addition to the manu was the Tiramisu Toast and it garnered high praises all round. The light cappuccino fragrance from the tiramisu is complemented with slices of almond sprinkled liberally atop the toasted baguette. A winning combination. Best of all, both items cost just $1.20! Great tasting food without breaking the bank. Thumbs up!
