the buffalo wings with wholegrain mustard ($10.90 for 6 wings) is absolutely delectable! ultra crispy skin slathered with mustard sauce and crunchy whole mustard seeds. and it comes with slices of cucumber dipped in thai sweet chili sauce - OMG (:and as we were eating, i also caught a whiff of the traditional outback BBQ buffalo wings. they smelled soooo delicious! i'm coming back for them the next time for the main dish, we ordered the irish beef stew ($21.90), only available on weekends! how

and as we were eating, i also caught a whiff of the traditional outback BBQ buffalo wings. they smelled soooo delicious! i'm coming back for them the next time

for the main dish, we ordered the irish beef stew ($21.90), only available on weekends! how exclusive. haha. traditional comfort food, the beef is stewed in Guinness for 6 hours, such that it is meltingly soft and dissolves on your tongue. the rich stew is really tasty! and i loved the salad and mash potato that came with it. actually the stew was supposed to be served with rustic toasted bread (which i would have loved to try!!!!), unfortunately, the person bringing the bread was late -.- so the waitress replaced it with mashed potato. which was buttery and fluffy (nice!), but i would have liked to try the bread

we also tried the pomodoro chicken crepe ($16.90) which i loved! it was a soft crepe encasing chicken, tomato, ricotta, mozarella and spinach. mmm the cheese was nice and gooey and lent a great flavour to the crepe. and all the ingredients blended together just nicely (:
there were a row of yummy looking desserts on display, and even though i was really full already, i couldn't say no, could i?
i had a hard time deciding between the brownie and mud pie, and MUD PIE ($7.50) won. well, i can't say it was a good choice >.< the outside of the mudpie was crisp which was lovely, but....the inside was rather dry. i have to credit the cafe for attempting to achieve a warm oozy chocolate inside - they did achieve it to a small extent, but i would have preferred the inside of the mud pie to be much moister and richer with molten chocolate.
