the char kway teow here seems to be very authentic as it seems to be the old traditional char kway teow that i had when i came to singapore a long time ago. it is still as oily and lardy. which makes it taste great. it's not too black and there are no burnt bits unlike at other places. it is also not too white like the penang one. it sells out very quickly so have to get there not too late. the cockles are fresh and unlike some places, they are not cold. over all, it is quite good.
