I was served by this waiter by the name of Perry Poh. He demonstrated excellent and exceptional customer service that added pleasant flavours to the food I had. I was served by this waiter by the name of Perry Poh. He demonstrated excellent and exceptional customer service that added pleasant flavours to the food I had. I entered the restaurant at about 11.45pm on 02/03/13 together with 3 of my friends. Upon entering the restaurant, he was the waiter serving us and I told him I was looking for a table for 4. He gestured us to wait and he went up the restaurant to check for availability. He was swift and wasted no time. Unfortunately, he came down with a disappointment to us that the restaurant was full. I asked him how long do we have to wait and he didnt want to over promise and replied it's hard to tell as it depends on the time diners leave. the first exceptional customer service was demonstrated when he took initiative and asked if we mind leaving down my contact number so that he can get back to us immediately once there's a table available. We acceded and I left with hp number with the thinking that by the time they called, we would have found some other restaurants to dine in. Stepping around 20 steps out of the restaurant and planning to discuss alternative supper plan with my friends, we heard hasty footsteps towards us and when we turned towards the direction, I saw Mr. Poh running to us and saying a table of 4 just left and whether or not we still want to dine. "Of course" we answered. The second exceptional customer service performance occurred when I saw an available table at a better location while the diners just left. I asked Mr Poh if we could be allocated to that table instead because we were sitting very close the the entrance which was a bit distracting by the crowd walking in and out of the restaurant. He told us that the table I was referring to was reserved and suggested us to shift to the table next to that table I was referring to as that was not reserved. That time, I was already drawn aback by his customer service. While taking our orders, he was extremely patient despite the busy business of the restaurant at that time and even accommodated my friend's "absurd" request of toast with peanut butter jam instead or caramel. He advised that might not taste well but my friends insisted so he wrote it down in his request. Although the eventual food arrived with the original caramel, probably the chef find that request too absurd, the fact that he was exceptionally accommodative and patient would wrap up the 3rd exceptional customer service he performed that day. He was polite and friendly throughout the entire interaction. Because of him, it find the dining experience pleasant and would definitely return to the restaurant!
