- Saba fish with beef set

This stall has been around for some time and has its own regular patrons. After having seen my friends eat here and giving good recommendations, I finally decided to give it a try on my own. The Saba fish given is sliced expertly into a half - but still a huge portion as the fish is big. It's grilled well, not overcooked but done just nicely. It's well-marinated and with an aromatic bbq fragrance. Similarly, the thinly sliced beef slices were also grilled to a nice touch - the teriyaki-like sauce coating the beef was tasty and the wholesome juices were absorbed into the sliced cabbage slices placed beneath the beef slices. The amount of beef given was also considerably generous. The bowl of sticky rice tasted ok and is a rather huge bowl. The miso soup though was dilute and the side kimchi was dry. The anchovies were dry and salty as well with no other dimension to the taste. Still, the grilled fish and beef are the highlights for the dish. A very filling meal which is quite worthwhile for $6.50. I'll rate a 3.5/5 overall for the taste.
