I love Vietnamese cuisine so when i saw this newly opened restaurant at JEM, I simply had to try it! Iced Honey Lemon for $3.20. What you see is what you get-- this was really honey + lemon water. Nothing special and really quite pricey for something simple like this. I like the glass that the drink was served in though. Very vintage. I ordered the Beef Brisket and Beef Balls Noodle Soup ($9.80) and Grilled Beef with Mango Salad ($10.80). Wow, the side dish is more expensive than the main dish!

I ordered the Beef Brisket and Beef Balls Noodle Soup ($9.80) and Grilled Beef with Mango Salad ($10.80). Wow, the side dish is more expensive than the main dish! However, the restaurant was extremely generous with the beef slices and the mango was sweet. The mango gave the dish a nice tropical touch especially in summertime (which is all year round for Singapore). The noodle soup was delicious. Rice noodles were smooth and slippery but the soup was not as sweet as I had expected it to be. It did not pack much beefiness as expected.

It was a nice experience dining at So Pho. I would visit here again to try out other Vietnamese delights such as the renowned salad rolls and the lemongrass vermicelli noodle soup.
