Sunnychoice is a organic food place that carries a wide selection of natural/organic products and with their cafe serving tasty food suitable for vegetarians. The setup is a family business operated by 5 sisters which had commenced since 2007.Having walk passed by Sunnychoice cafe a few times, I had finally make my healthier move by stepping into the shop and ordered my first natural organic choice of dinner. I was rather lost initially as the dining area was many steps away from the main door.

I was rather lost initially as the dining area was many steps away from the main door. In addition, there was no one was around to enlighten my presence. To make my first visit worse, the place was rather quiet, with only one or two tables occupied at dinner time. I searched high and low for the menu, only to realize that menu was in digital format until I asked the shop assistants if I could have them. I took out the Samsung Device (the menu) and powered up the tablet. Wow! I had never thought that such a humble neighbourhood eating place will be equipped with such state of the art technology. In fact, every table has a compartment to hold the tablet and was securely chained to it. Impressive!
With the assistance from the shop keeper/cashier I had successfully placed my order via the application. Interface was user friendly, quite easy to navigate which took me a couple of seconds to familiarize.
My organic meal (takeaway) starts with the braised noodles. Dishes were freshly cooked to order, Kept in a square plastic container, the braised noodles were seemingly a healthier version covered by leafy greens, with ingredients such as chopped mushrooms, Tau Gua (fried beancurd) and sweet organic sauce. A little squeeze of lime juice among the noodles would make the taste better.Cost: $6.50 (Takeaway)
Thunder Tea (Hakka Lei Cha) consisted of an assortment of vegetables placed over the bed of fluffy brown rice, topped off with tea leaves, roasted peanuts and other earthly herbs like coriander, garlic, mint and basil. The green minty paste was packed separately to maintain the freshness of the takeaway food.
Cost: $7.50 (Takeaway)
While some do not like the raw green minty paste that required to be pour over the food, I find having thunder tea was rather interesting and had enjoy this Hakka Cuisine. Since not many places would have Lei Cha, SunnyChoice had added another reason for me to come back besides their wide variety of healthy dishes.
