If you're looking for mid-priced Japanese food at Suntec City, this place is great! I ordered their signature Shiyu ramen and it was really delicious with salty broth, springy noodles, and tender pork. Ordered a side dish of gyoza too which were good and stuffed with ground pork and veggies, but nothing special. I think the gyoa cost about $5 for a plate of 5. Service was very prompt and I like that green tea is complimentary for all diners. They were good with the refills, too!I ate here because I had bought a Groupon for Shin Sapporo -- 2 bowls of ramen for $15. The regular price is $10-17 per bowl, but I would still be happy paying that amount for good ramen, excellent service, and free green tea. If you eat at off-peak hours like 5pm there is a discount. I'll definitely be back. continue reading

Selling a wide range of Japanese Ramen, this Japanese restaurant offers refill of ramen for its customers as long as you still have soup base in your bowl! The ramen is really springy and chewy, the soup base is slightly salty with a good miso taste and the ingredients of the soup base is quite a lot ranging from pork slices to sweet corn, vegetables half boiled juicy egg! I liked the egg the most as it melts in your mouth and you don't even need to bite too much as it is soft. As for the pork slices, they were well cooked and taste well with the ramen and soup base! Overall a good bowl of japanese ramen recommended for all to try! continue reading

Mu... actually we want to find some delicious and similar Ramen taste in Singapore , but really difficult to find , this one also not pass ... as their noodles is too hard and the soup just got salt taste , but don't have other taste like rib bone , butter smell , soya smell ... which is totally different from what we had eaten in Sapporo ... the main problem is : the picture which they are showing have big char siu ... however , when we received our bowl ... it is just a char siu cued ... i really hate to c this , as i don't mind to pay more .. but can you bring some real stuff to me ? Noodle is so little ... and we have to eat other thing from other restaurant after it...So will not go there again ... continue reading

Went to Shin-Sapporo Ramen located at Level one suntec city on a working day. It was a small and cosy shop with 3 to 4 service staff. The service staff were very attentive and introduce the different types of ramen to suit our tastes. In the end, we settled for Shin Sapporo Miso and Shio ramen which was recommended by the staff. The Shin Sapporo Miso comes in a set served with ice green tea and pork gyoza at $11.90.The presentation of the Shio ramen was very nice and the ingredients was generous. It has half a hard boiled eggs, corn, char siew meat, some bamboo shoot, beansprouts, sea weed and the soup broth was rich and tasty. The soup spoon they used were made of wood and was big enough to scoop the soup. It costs us around $32 for me and a friend but it was worth it. continue reading
