Hailing from Florence in Italy, Procacci is a franchise owned by Caerus Holdings and a classic Italian restaurant located at the Customs House. Boasting an undisturbed view of Marina Bay Sands, it makes a perfect spot for breakfast and brunch appointments, dates, or even the occasional family gatherings. Also, with the restaurant’s capacity of about 60 people, you can host small events here while the outdoor seating provides ample space to hangout or to simply soak in the environment. Well-known for both wines imported directly from the Marchesi Antinori Winery, as well as gourmet truffles for lunch and dinner, Procacci finally launched their brunch menu in May. OpenRice members were invited to indulge in an array of handpicked dishes from Procacci’s Brunch Menu, which has 10 main dishes starting from $16++ and is available on Saturdays from 11.am to 2.30pm. We started with a trio of Uova Strapazatte con Funghi (V)($20) with scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms , rustica toast and sautéed broccoli; Fritattate al Tartufo (V)($22) with egg frittata, ciabatta toast, and truffle cream; and Pollo Grigliato ($20) – grilled chicken breast, fried egg, crispy bacon and ciabatta toast. Out of the three, the Fritattate al Tartufo emerged as the group’s favourite for the entire food tasting session!

Next came the meat dishes, with Fumo Salmone ($20, above) paving the way. This item filled the plate with smoked salmon, fried egg, ricotta cheese and ciabatta toast. Following that was Salsiccia Italiano ($26), consisting of grilled spicy Italian sausages, rustica toast, fried egg and arrabbiata sauce. The last – and the largest - was Procacci Delizia ($30) with mortadella, parma ham, taleggio cheese, scrambled eggs and rustica toast. From this round, the Fumo Salmone came in as the second favourite dish amongst our 6 OpenRice reviewers. Procacci then surprised the attendees with glasses of Prosecco (white wine) from Antinori Wineyard, making for a lovely end to the meal.

For a limited period, the restaurant will be serving free flow Prosecco for $25++. Alternatively, you can opt for free flow beverages with a mix of Prosecco, Peroni Beer, Soft Drinks and Juices for $45++/pax. Later upon request, we got to try out Procacci’s Uovo Benedetto ($22) –an Italian version of eggs benedict — and yet another round of Fritattate al Tartufo, which the group couldn’t get enough of. All in all, it was a thoroughly satisfying brunch that left us with happy stomachs.
