Jamie Oliver’s cooking has finally reached Asia, and the first outlet of his Italian restaurant can be found right here in sunny Singapore. Headed by Executive Chef Gary Clarke, Jamie’s Italian features simple and home-cooked dishes which very much remind you of Italy.

This buffet restaurant features a wide assortment of cheeses, cured meats, and breads which will make your jaws drop. For the dessert lovers, you will just die and go to heaven with all the choices you can find here. For those who can’t eat too much, the restaurant also has ala carte options.

Chef Peter Neo, who has made a name for himself by cooking really good Italian food, is the man behind this restaurant. Barely a year old, Pietro has consistently attracted foodies due to its exceptionally good food. Here, you can have a taste of the Italian dishes which Chef has mastered while he was learning about this cuisine in Italy.

Expect to pay: Approx. $13.90 for a very simple but tasty pizza flavour Must-try: Bufalino pizza which is topped with tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella ($16.90)
Started by three schoolmates, they came up with La Pizzaiola to bring quality and affordable Italian dishes to its customers. For recommendations, you can choose from the number of pizzas they have. For such reasonable prices, the pasta dishes here also deserve a shout out.

A quaint little café located at Bukit Timah, Al Borgo offers authentic Italian dishes in a cosy and homey setting. Though they are known for their pizza (a German magazine named them one of the top pizzerias in 2012), their meat dishes deserve a mention as well. Slow cooked to perfection, foodies will enjoy the taste and texture of these items.

Otto Locanda offers you affordable Italian cuisine served within a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The kitchen is also run by Italian native, Chef Marco Violana, who grew up in the small town of Puglia. As such, expect to try the dishes he grew up loving.

If you have money to spare, you have to go to Garibaldi. Arguably one of the best Italian restaurants in Singapore, this high-end place serves you top notch Italian dishes which will always leave a mark on your palate. The menu emphasises on Italian dishes with ingredients especially imported from Italy. It can’t get any more authentic than that!

One of Singapore’s most stylish restaurants, Il Lido offers diners a place to enjoy authentic Italian offerings while giving them a picturesque view of sea. Dishes here are on the pricier side with pasta items costing above $40. One thing to note about this restaurant is the wide range of wines they have.
