This is the kind of food which you would think of when you are unwell. Something that does not taste too oily and makes you feel warm when you are having flu. It has been awhile that I had eaten this kind of porridge , which is not the smooth type ( cantonese version ). It just came at the right moment that I needed it most. I used to eat this kind of porridge with my dad when I was young. The pork bone stock brings sweetness to the porridge , and the meat ball is so tasty.. Sometimes simple food like this is enough to make your day.
