Every 2 weeks, I used to have this $10 marvelous curry fish head at Changi Village. When I had a sip of the curry, the taste was quite similar to the $10 curry fish head I used to patronize. The spiciness is just right, not too overly spicy. The portion of the fish head is reasonable to the price paid, the fish meat is not fishy at all - nicely handle. What's more the curry is thick; enough to satisfy you! For the price of $18, I will say quite worth it!
This dish doesn't look appetizing but it is real good! It is crispy and very fragrance. This is the first time I see Zhi Char restaurant using the fried garlic skin as the ingredient of a dish - it enhance the fragrance of the dish.I felt that the pricing of their dishes were reasonable and affordable, usually most Zhi Char restaurants price their Curry Fish Head above $22 and for a meat dish $12 and above. More over the portion of the pork dish is really a lot that 2 of us couldn't finish it.
