Walking along this Liang Seah Street, it's not difficult to find a dessert shop but this is the most crowded with the longest queue of all so we decided to eat here. It was very cramped inside and the seats are not comfortable as there's no back rest. My colleague say this is so as to prevent people from sitting around for too long.

All three of us ordered hot dessert. Mine is ginkgo barley with sweetened bean curd , and the other two are my colleagues. This is one of my all time favourite which I would ordered from other dessert stalls too. The sweetened bean curd is soft and smooth and the barley is chewy. Together with the ginkgo which is said to an effect on the regulation of urination, this dessert is rather nourishing.

However, we were disappointed with their peanut paste which is too watery and not thick enough.

The yam paste with sago is so-so only too.
