Tiramisu round cake $3.80: The tiramisu cake is very moist and the sponge is soft and goes well with the cream layer. The tiramisu taste is also distinct. It is also not overly sweet. Chocolate cake $3.50: The chocolate is smooth and rich yet not overly sweet, probably because some dark chocolate was used. As compared with the tiramisu, this cake has a denser texture. At $3.50 only, this cake is worth the price.  continue reading

Four Leaves is one of my favourite bakeries and I am glad that there are several branches of the bakery all over Singapore for added convenience. While passing by a branch at IMM, I decided to get some bread for myself and the family.Snow Blanc ($2.50)One of my favourite Four Leaves breads is Snow Blanc, which was recommended to me by my mum. This feels really silky smooth and soft in the mouth. Even the crust is quite soft compared to those like Gardenia or Sunshine! I tried using Snow Blanc to make ham and cheese sandwich and it was as tasty as breads can be. I also tried it toasted with jam but if you ask me, I rather eat it untoasted just to savour the smoothness of the bread! And yes, this was definitely good enough to eat plain on its own! At $2.50 per loaf, this may seem to be a tad pricey but I found this to be worth the price, especially if you enjoyed the smooth and soft texture like I did!Kaya Bun ($1.10)I also bought a few kaya buns for the family. At only $1.10 each, this was pretty affordable. The bread was soft with a decent amount of kaya in it, which my mum liked. I thought this was quite okay but there are other breads from Four Leaves that I personally liked more. The quality and taste of the bread among the Four Leaves branches (at least those I've been to) are quite consistent. The prices of their bread and cakes are also reasonable compared to some other bakery chains. Service was quite decent at the IMM branch although I think the service was much better at the Causeway Point branch but nevertheless, it is still worth a visit especially for the breads like the Snow Blanc! continue reading

With a wide range of their very own creations, their mini bread allows you to be spoilt of choices, think that's their main attraction.4 scones cost $3.10, which is I think is reasonable. Tastes lovely with butter!!With a bite from their bread you can tell a difference from it and the other bread… I love their hotdog bread, chocolate brownies, and sugary donuts!! continue reading

We bought the fruit cake from four leaves to celebrate my niece’s birthday ;DThe standard 15cm costs $26.The overall taste of the fruit cake is quite ok.It has quite a strong thick creamy taste from the outer layer which is a little oily, with the almonds sprinkled around the cake surface. The chiffon layer within is soft and fluffy.Even though the cream is quite thick, it is still quite nice as the cream is not too sweet and it is fresh and sweet. The amount of fruits is not a lot in the cake itself. Most of the fruits are those at the top surface, and the fruits are fresh too ;DThe size for $26 is not very big but it is just right for us to have it after our dinner. A small slice for each of us ;D continue reading

3 for $2.20 mini buns are one of their best seller. Luncheon meat, chicken, tuna. The standard of their buns have maintained for thier outlets. The idea of minibuns are good. As it had given customer a wider range to choose and not getting their stomach fill up easily and of course at an attractive pricing. These 3 breads are well "polished" and giving a "stand out" look, distinctively with different patterns on the buns base on their fillings and type. continue reading
