Signature Dishes
There was a Chinese Bakery at the corner of the Westgate basement foodhall. I went in to have a look and saw this interesting bread called "鸡尾包" or HK Cocktail Bun. The 鸡尾包 had a nice buttery and dessicated coconut aroma, very soft and fluffy when touch. I thought the bun contained chicken meat. When I teared open the bun, the bun was plain, there was not any meat fillings inside. Nevertheless the plain 鸡尾包 tasted good but at $1.80 each, it was slightly pricey.

Located at Basement 2 next to the entrance of the carpark of Westgate, Imperial Treasure Bakery shares a good spread of breads and cakes. Like their restaurants and bakeries, the interior was elegantly designed and decorated.Bought the HK Cocktail Bun from their new outlet which costs $1.80 each. There were 2 strips across the buns and in the middle a handful of sesame seeds were attached. The buns are soft and fluffy with custard fillings. However they were a little bit dry and tends to drop off from the bread once bite on it.

Cheese cake $4.20the cheese cake was rich yet not overpowering. the texture was soft and slightly creamy. This is worth a try.Chocolate moose cake $4.20Black chocolate cake $4.20the taste of the chocolate moose and black chocolate cake was rather similar except that the black chocolate cake was less sweet and the chocolate moose cake had a sweeter taste and a softer texture. Worth a try!Overall, I am rather satisfied with my purchases and I will definitely patronize this bakery again
