An Afternoon Tea Buffet at The Tea Lounge

Spend one of your afternoons eating like royalty at The Regent Hotel’s Afternoon Tea Buffet at the Tea Lounge. From Mondays through Fridays, get to sample their finest afternoon delights for only $36++ (adults) and $22++ (children). It will be served from 12pm to 5pm. At first, you may think that this is a bit too expensive, but once you see their spread at the tea lounge, you will literally eat your words.

There’s just an overflowing supply of freshly brewed coffee and Taylor’s of Harrogate Fine English Tea Selection. Of course, there’s hot/cold chocolate for the kids or the “kids at heart.” Pair it up with their selection of fresh finger sandwiches: the Free Range Corn Fed Chicken with Terragon Crème Fraiche on Brioche; Roast Beef, Horse Radish and Stilton Cheese; Oak Smoked Salmon and Lemon Cream Cheese on Sunflower Seed Bread; and Organic Egg Mayonnaise and Red Mustard Frills on White Bread; and the McLelland Smoked Cheddar Cheese on Sour Dough.

Not a fan of sandwiches? Worry not for the Tea Lounge have other savoury items on their menu such as the Vegetable Pie, Cornish Pastie, Cheese Straw, and many more. The Regent is famous for its scones. With this afternoon buffet, you get to try not just one but three different types; namely Blackcurrant, Plain or Apple Raisin Scones. All of these are served with Devonshire Clotted Cream, Organic Strawberry Preserve and Traditional Lemon Curd. If you’re too busy to drop by the Tea Lounge during weekdays, you can always do so during the weekends with Their Afternoon High Tea Buffet. They have more selections when it comes to their finger foods. Other than the items that they’re serving on weekdays, they’ve also added appetizers and mains. As for the dessert, the list just goes on to Belgian waffles, cookies and jams, gelatos and crepes, soufflés, pastries, tea cakes, and many more!
